Do I need weight training experience?

No prior weight training experience is necessary. We focus on fundamental movements that enhance your technique. When it comes to weight training, proper form reigns supreme. Knowing when to adjust your weights is crucial for achieving results and avoiding injuries due to incorrect form. For beginners in the class, I will focus on one-on-one guidance to ensure your technique is flawless and safe.

When will I start to see results?

Each person is unique, with different body types, metabolism rates, and muscle densities. Grind is tailored to assist you in achieving your fitness objectives, and all I request is your dedication to attending classes in each bootcamp block. Holding yourself accountable for your training and maintaining healthy habits beyond bootcamp sessions are equally crucial. Embracing a healthy, active lifestyle and making wise decisions regarding nutrition and hydration can undoubtedly accelerate your progress. Stay committed, and you'll soon see results.

What do I need to bring to the class?

It's recommended to bring a water bottle, wear workout clothing that facilitates ease of movement, and opt for training shoes with no cushioning to improve balance when weight lifting. Additionally, some clients prefer to bring weight training gloves for hand protection, especially when lifting heavy weights.

Where are the classes held?

Bootcamp classes are held outdoors during the spring, summer, and fall, and move indoors for the winter season. Summer sessions typically take place at various locations around Whistler, while winter sessions are held indoors at the Westin Hotel. Although specific locations may vary for each bootcamp block, all classes will always remain within the Whistler area.

Will I receive a refund if I don’t like the bootcamp classes or change my mind?

If you decide not to continue after your first class, we’ll do our best to accommodate a refund for any class packs or monthly subscriptions. That said, we recommend giving it at least 3–4 weeks to start seeing results. The classes can be challenging, but you’re encouraged to move at your own pace and listen to your body.
